You May Want To Hold Onto Something

This weekend, I was at a party. It was loud. Not only were a group of women screaming, they were also blowing a whistle. (I put a bounty on that whistle.) I was talking with a friend, and speaking up to make sure I was being heard.

A few words into whatever I was saying, her face started to wince. She put the flat of her hand up, and made the "tone it down" gesture.

Okay, at a party where women are screaming and blowing a whistle over the music that was already loud, I'M TOO LOUD.
